Shirley Eileen Chamberlain, 89, a resident of Grace Village Retirement Community of Winona Lake, passed away at 4:45 p.m. Aug. 14, 2015, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw. She was born Oct. 2, 1925, in Johnstown, Pa., to Thomas G. and Edna Boyle Watkins. She married Leslie LeRoy Chamberlain, who passed away in 2005. She was a homemaker and a member of Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church. She was a loving, godly mother and grandmother. Survivors are: two sons, Larry (and spouse Sherlene) Chamberlain, LaFontaine; and Terry Chamberlain, Dayton, Ohio; four grandchildren ;and 13 great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and a brother. A private family service will be Tuesday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw, with Chaplain Bryan Benjamin officiating.
