Shipp Sets Course For Wabash CollegeWarsaw senior Brandon Shipp has decided to continue his baseball career at Wabash College.
Shipp, who will earn his third varsity letter with the Warsaw Tigers baseball team this spring, has been a steady force, being among the team leaders in hitting both this season and last season.
The middle infielder also earned some valuable experiences in the offseason, playing with the Michiana Scrappers the past four summers, including an appearance in last year’s World Series championship game.
While Shipp has been making his presence known with opposing pitchers at the plate and on the basepaths, he has made a solid statement in the classroom and in the community as well.
Intending to major in psychology and Spanish with a goal to pursue a career with the FBI, Shipp has served with numerous community-service based events with groups such as the Octagon Club.
His coursework has also been tremendous, as he was recognized as a Tiger Athletics Scholar Athlete while enrolled in multiple honors and advanced level courses.
The Wabash College competes in the North Coast Athletic Conference in NCAA Division III.
