The bride is the daughter of Stephen and Karen Shingledecker, Warsaw; the groom's parents are Dennis and Susan Philpott, Hudsonville, Mich.
Maid of honor was Nicole Nieboer, Kalamazoo, Mich. Bridesmaids were Kara Van Kooten, Anchorage, Alaska; and Emily Philpott, Hudsonville.
Best man was David Garland, Comstock Park, Mich. Groomsmen were Michael Shingledecker, Warsaw, and Andrew Philpott, Hudsonville.
A reception was held at Mangiamo, Grand Rapids.
The bride is an editor at Zondervan Publishing House, Grand Rapids. She is a 2001 graduate of Warsaw Community High School and received a bachelor's degree in English and business from Calvin College in 2005.
The groom is a medical records assistant at West Michigan Heart P.C., Grand Rapids. He is a 2003 graduate of Hudsonville High School and received a bachelor's degree in communications from Cornerstone University in 2007.
After a wedding trip to Jamaica, the couple reside in Grand Rapids.
