She was born Aug. 6, 1932, in Odon, to Ray and Hazel Marshall Tarvin.
Sherrill married Darrell Gene Clodfelder on Dec. 30, 1951, in Odon. He died. She was then married to Billy G. Wells in 1992 until he died in 2016.
Funeral arrangements are Saturday, Jan. 22 with visitation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with the service starting at 1 p.m. at the Akron Church of God, officiated by Pastor Kathy Nelson. Burial is at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 24 at Walmut Hill Cemetery in Odon. The public is invited to the visitation, service and burial. The funeral will also be live streamed on the Akron Church of God’s Facebook page.
