SYRACUSE – Sherri Lyn, 63, of Millersburg, passed away on Friday, Dec. 4, 2020, after a short battle with cancer.
She was born on July 8, 1957, in Goshen, to Donald and Shirley Nicodemus Hapner.
Sherri loved the art of designing her stained glass and the colors that it brought into the house. She was blessed with the gift of knitting quilts and beautiful items. She cherished her dogs and every animal she came across. One would even say she adored them more than her kids. She loved spending her time with her family and friends and would talk to you all day if she could. Her greatest joy in life besides her animals was her one and only grandson. She will be truly missed.
She is survived by her son, Brandan Yoder, of Millersburg; daughter, Shana Yoder, of Austin, Texas; one grandson, Ethan Yoder, of Teague, Texas; mother, Shirley Hapner, of Millersburg; brother, Randy (Pam) Hapner, of Warsaw; sister, April (Rod) Hostetler, of New Paris; two stepsisters, Jolene (Roger) Yoder, of Shipshewana; Rosalind (Ty) Marshall, of Warsaw; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 9 at 7 p.m. at Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse, with calling two hours prior from 5 to 7 p.m.
