An area man was flown from Kosciusko Community Hospital to a burn unit in Fort Wayne this morning. According to Sgt. Chad Hill, Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department public information officer, the male victim claimed he was burning trash when the fire got out of control and he tried to extingish the flames with his hands. The male victim, whose name and age were unavailable at press time, sustained burns to his hands, arm, neck and face. KCSD is investigating the incident.
