The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department is seeking help from the public in a recent rash of criminal mischief cases. KCSD detectives are currently investigating at least 12 incidents of criminal mischief that occurred over the last weekend in the northern portion of Kosciusko County. Detectives stated the incidents in question all involved the use of a BB gun. All incidents primarily involved damage to vehicles, although in a few of the incidents a residential structure was damaged. Officers also stated that the reported crimes appeared to have occurred in Camelot Lake, west of Syracuse, the north portion of Tippecanoe Lake and in the Enchanted Hills addition west side of Lake Wawasee. Currently, KCSD detectives have neither suspects nor any vehicle descriptions to further the investigations. Citizens are encouraged to call the KCSD detective division with any possible leads that could assist with the apprehension of the suspects.
