MIDDLETOWN – Sharon Sue Lee Peters, 61, a resident of Silver Lake, passed away Friday in Fort Wayne.
She was born in Henry County, April 6, 1957, the daughter of Elijah Winchester and Mary Crabtree Mendenhall.
She was a graduate of Shenandoah High School and worked for Grossnickle Eye Center in Warsaw.
Survivors are her husband, Jeff Peters; a child, Chad (Katie) Harvey, Richmond, Texas; two grandchildren: Ethan Harvey, Richmond, Texas, and Olivia Harvey, Warsaw; three brothers: Ronald Crabtree, Gary Lee and Tony Lee; three sisters: Brenda Stone, Rebecca Luna (Gilbert) and Beverly Lee; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and father-in-law, Joe Peters.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27 at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th St., Middletown, with Rev. Maynard Powell officiating.
Burial will be in Miller Cemetery, Middletown.
Friends may call on Wednesday from noon until the time of the services.
