SILVER LAKE – Sharon Sue Lee Peters, 61, resident of Silver Lake, passed away Friday, Feb. 22, 2019, in Fort Wayne.
She was born in Henry County on April 6, 1957, the daughter of Elijah Winchester and Mary Crabtree Mendenhall.
She was a graduate of Shenandoah High School and worked for Grossnickle Eye Center in Warsaw.
Survivors are her husbund, Jeff Peters; one child, Chad Harvey (Katie) of Richmond, Texas; two grandchildren, Ethan Harvey of Richmond and Olivia Harvey of Warsaw; three brothers: Ronald Crabtree and Gary Lee and Tony Lee; three sisters: Brenda Stone, Rebecca Luna (Gilbert) and Beverly Lee; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and father-in-law, Joe Peters.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 S. Fifth St., Middletown, with the Rev. Maynard Powell officiating.
Burial will be in Miller Cemetery, Middletown.
Friends may call on Wednesday from noon until the time of the services.
