NORTH MANCHESTER – Sharon Kay Shepherd, 64, crossed over to her heavenly home on Sept. 16, 2016, at Peabody Nursing Home, North Manchester, with her family at her side.
She was given by God to Clyde and Emma Jean Adams Shepherd on Nov. 2, 1951, in Warsaw.  
She was a lifetime resident of the Warsaw and North Manchester areas.
She attended Cardinal Learning Center and worked in the workshop for several years.
She was a member of the handbell choir and went to Washington to play for the president of the United States.  She loved all and never met a stranger. She adored her dog, Ginger.
Sharon Kay was a special child of God.
Survivors include a sister, Barbara Jean Prater, North Manchester; a niece, Chasity (and spouse Matthew) Sandy, Warsaw; two nephews, Ralph Prater, Syracuse, and Gregory (and spouse Kristal) Prater, North Webster; three great-nieces: Kylee Schooley, Warsaw; Nicole Schooley, Pierceton; and Kacey Prater, Syracuse; and a great-nephew, Kamron Prater, Knapp Lake. She was preceded by her parents, Clyde and Emma Jean Shepherd; and a nephew, Kyle Abraham Prater.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 E. Sheridan St., Warsaw, with Pastor Jerry Creekmore officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Calling is from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
