NAPPANEE - Sharon K. Pate, 64, of 1509 Brooks Drive, Nappanee, died at 2:04 p.m. Oct. 24, 2010, in her residence.
She was born April 24, 1946, in Piqua, Ohio, to Lionel and Alice Dumph Rohr. On July 9, 1965, in Nappanee, she married Charles Pate Sr., who survives.
She graduated from Nappanee High School in 1964 and was a homemaker. She was a member of Veterans Of Foreign Wars Women's Auxiliary.
Also surviving are a son, Charles Jr. (and spouse Noelle) Pate, Nappanee; a daughter, Jamie (and spouse Ryan) Whitmyer, Elkhart; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three sisters: Marianne (and spouse Russell) Ervin, Nappanee; Pauline Adamson, Marion; and Carol (and spouse Jerry) Lanning, Bremen; and two stepbrothers, Ronald Tobias, Syracuse, and Bruce Tobias, Nappanee. She was preceded in death by two daughters and a brother.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee. Burial will be in Union Center Cemetery.
