AKRON – Sharon K. Arnett, 56, Claypool, died at noon Oct. 31, 2014, at her daughter’s residence after being in failing health for two years. She was born Oct. 27, 1958, in West Virginia, to Spencer and Dorothy Creek Mutter. On May 18, 1977, in Clintwood, Va., she married Ell Arnett, who survives in Claypool. She worked as a cashier at the Silver Lake Mini Mart that she owned with her husband. She graduated from Allen Center High School. She collected cookbooks, loved to cook, and always enjoyed her family. Also surviving are a daughter, Jeannie Arnett (and Matt Swihart), Silver Lake; a son, Ell (and spouse Michelle) Arnett, Claypool; three grandchildren: Meranda and Mariah Arnett; and Keegan Swihart; and a brother, Frank (and spouse Annie) Mutter, Odessa, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Hartzler Funeral Home, 305 W. Rochester St., Akron, with Pastors Terry Bradford and Luther Bailey officiating.
