NORTH MANCHESTER - Sharon F. "Pappy" Stellar, 88, of Servia, died at 10:16 a.m. Oct. 29, 2009, in Wabash County Hospital.
He was born June 7, 1921, in Servia, to Arnold and Tillie Dwyer Stellar. On Sept. 12, 1942, he married Betty R. Burkhart, who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, including William Stellar, North Manchester; a daughter; two brothers, including Lee Stellar, North Manchester; two sisters; 10 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two daughters, five brothers and a sister.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, with Pastor J.P. Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Clear Creek Cemetery, Huntington County.
Calling is from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
