ROCHESTER – Sharon F. Carpenter Brown, 69, of Rochester, died at 5 p.m. March 24, 2012, in Life Care Center, Rochester.
She was born Nov. 11, 1942, in Rochester, to Emmitt and Deloris Carpenter Lozier. She married Leonard Brown, who survives.
She was a homemaker.
Also surviving are two sons, Todd (and spouse Samantha) Brown, Dyer, and Michael Van Etten, Chicago, Ill.; four daughters: Rhonda (and spouse Bob) Hurt, Rochester; Deirdre (and spouse Charles) Stavedahl and Denise (and spouse Fernando) Islas, all of Warsaw; and Dawn (and spouse Shawn) Webb, Goshen; 21 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday at The Zimmerman Brothers Funeral Home, Rochester, with the Rev. Deirdre Stavedahl officiating. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Winamac Cemetery.
