Robert E. Shafer and the former Callie L. Aker were married Oct. 7, 1960, at First Christian Church, Warsaw, by the Rev. John Becker.
They have two sons, the late Phillip D. Shafer and Onda Eric Shafer, Warsaw; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.
