Seth Braden Reese GoodbodyMARION – Seth Braden Reese Goodbody, 24, of Marion, died Thursday, June 24, 2021, at his residence.
Seth was a loving and caring person. He enjoyed gaming, working out and was always concerned about his and others’ nutrition. He was an All-Star football player while in junior high, a Notre Dame fan and enjoyed going to the Notre Dame football games with his uncle. He was involved in a variety of other sports. Seth was a certified EMT.
Seth was born Sept. 17, 1996, in Goshen, to the late Braden Robert Goodbody and Elizabeth Reese, who survives.
Including his mother, he is survived by his sister, Ashly (Corey Boxell) Lightfoot, Marion; niece, Dayna "Dingo" Lightfoot; grandparents, Kenneth and Delila Reese, Elkhart; aunt, Crystal (Zach Blanton) Reese, Marion; uncles: Thomas (Michael) Reese, Elkhart; Robert (Rita Hill) Reese, South Bend; James "Jimbo" (Nicole) Reese, Chicago; and Timmy Goff of South Bend; cousins: Arika, Crystal Ann, Kayla, Jenna, Hailey, Caleb and Stephany.
Seth is preceded in death by his father, Braden Goodbody; and grandmother, Marjorie Keys Whatley.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to College Park Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 4601 S. Western Ave., Marion, where the family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 30 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. with the funeral service to follow at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor Johnnie Armes officiating. Burial will take place at Rice Cemetery, Elkhart.
