After years of working with businesses only, ServIT now is expanding its services to the public.
ServIT, open in Warsaw since 1989, has specialized in the sale of hardware, software and services in the IBM AS/400 Midrange computer industry, according to sales manager Chip Crane.
Now, ServIT will open its doors to the public and offer repair work on personal computers and laptops.
“Our facility and technicians have always done PC work for our corporate accounts; including friends and family to keep them happy,” said Crane. “Now, since we built our new facility with a warehouse, tech rooms, disaster recovery and sales offices combined with the continued request from people to do work on their PCs, we decided it was time to offer our expertise to the public.”
ServIT has more than 100 employees with offices in not only Warsaw but Indianapolis, Chicago, Atlanta, Nashville, Charlotte, St. Louis, Milwaukee, Pittsburgh, Louisville, Cincinnati and Jacksonville.
ServIT has been in its location at 117 Enterprise Drive for about five years.
The facility, about 11,000 square feet, features a tech room as well as a disaster recovery room for clients.
