The annual Sentimental Journey Garage Sale is set for today and Saturday at the Multi-Township Emergency Management Services east base in Warsaw.
The sale runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days at the M-TEMS east station, 2304 E. Center St.
The sale benefits the Sentimental Journey program, which provides transportation services and supportive care for terminally ill patients who want to visit a favorite spot one more time before their death.
The nationally recognized program is sponsored locally by M-TEMS and is staffed by volunteer emergency management technicians and paramedics. Funds raised help defray fuel and administrative costs.
“There will be some really great bargains at the sale,” Burns said.
“There is furniture, clothing, household articles just about anything,” said Trish Burns, Sentimental Journey director.
M-TEMS is a full-time paramedic service founded in 1975.
