Semi Tractor-Trailer Tips Over On U.S. 30A semi tractor-trailer tipped over Thursday night after pulling over for a law enforcement vehicle.
The accident occurred at 9:25 p.m. Thursday on U.S. 30, east of CR 250S, in Washington Township.
According to information from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office, Robert Shockley, 54, of Romeoville, Ill., was traveling east on U.S. 30 in a 2013 Freightliner semi tractor-trailer and began to pull over onto the shoulder of the roadway for a law enforcement vehicle. The vehicle went over too far and the tractor-trailer began to tip in the mud.
