The driver of this semi tractor/trailer suffered facial bleeding when the rig rolled over on Ind. 25, 150 feet west of CR 600W, near Mentone. John Fruhmann, 49, of Phoenix, Ariz., told police he was traveling about 20-25 mph going into a curve when the load inside his trailer apparently shifted, causing the trailer wheels to drop off the road and pulling the rest of the rig with it. Two witnesses concurred with Fruhmann's explanation. Fruhmann was treated for his injuries at Kosciusko Community Hospital and later released. Damage is estimated at $50,000 to $100,000 to Fruhmann's rig and less than $750 to a NIPSCO pole struck during the accident. The 4:31 p.m. Sunday accident was investigated by the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department. Photo by Gary Nieter, Times-Union
