Editor, Times-Union: I attended a meeting for our church food pantry in South Bend recently. They suggested we reach out and try get community, businesses and individuals involved to help food pantries.
I’m reaching out for our pantry and others. If you know a pantry, try and help them as they help others, by doing a food drive, donating food or monetary donations so they can buy food.
The need is so great but we can pull together and help those who are hurting and it’s better to give than to receive, and every little bit helps.
If you would like to help our pantry, God’s Highway To Heaven Church, or like a copy of pantries you could reach out to, you can reach me at: Judy Pennington, pantry director, P.O. Box 574, Warsaw, IN 46581, or phone 574-267-4061, or by e-mail charlesjudy@embarqmail.com
