Although the meet didn't finish, Warsaw got off to a good start in Thursday's sectional in Dunlap. Above left, Warsaw's Aaron Chabot does the long jump. Above right, Warsaw's Jon Dock holds a lead on Goshen's Austin Mault in the 3200 relay. Warsaw went on to win the relay. Storms arrived at 8 p.m., postponing the sectional until 5 tonight. Events still left include the shot put, pole vault, 200-meter run, 3200 and 1600 relay. The sectional took place on Concord's track but was run by Goshen officials, who, when contacted this morning, claimed they did not have team scores tallied up through the 11 completed events. Warsaw's Greg Seiss and Rob Peters placed first and second, respectively, in the last event completed, the 800. Other Warsaw highlights included Jarod Leasure taking second in the discus and Jake Fitzsimmons taking third in the high jump.
