The IHSAA announced girls basketball sectional pairings Sunday, with rematches plentiful in the tournaments. Warsaw will open the 4A sectional in Goshen against Northern Lakes Conference for Northridge on Tuesday, Feb. 10. The Lady Tigers won the NLC game 37-35 in overtime on Jan. 10. The winner will take on Elkhart Central in a Friday semifinal game. In the 3A sectional at Wawasee, No. 10 Tippecanoe Valley will take on Fairfield on Feb. 10, with the winner playing No. 12 NorthWood in a Friday semifinal. On Wednesday West Noble will take on Whitko, and Wawasee plays Lakeland, with the winners playing in the other semi. In Manchester’s 2A sectional, the Lady Squires drew Three Rivers Conference member Northfield on Feb. 11. The winner will get the victor of the Southwood/North Miami game in the semis Friday. No. 7 Triton gets a first-round bye and opens play in the Oregon-Davis 1A sectional semis on Friday, Feb. 13 against the No. 6 Culver Community vs. No. 5 South Central winner. Oregon-Davis is currently ranked fourth, and opens with Argos on Tuesday. That winner will get Lacrosse in the other semifinal Friday. Lakeland Christian Academy goes to Auburn to play Bethany Christian at the Lakewood Park 1A sectional on Feb. 10. The winner gets Fort Wayne Blackhawk on Friday.
