WINONA LAKE - The Second Sunday Series presents "Theme and Variations" March 9 at 7:30 p.m.

The performance will be at Rodeheaver Auditorium on the corner of Park Avenue and 9th Street in Winona Lake.

The doors open at 7 p.m. and admission is free and open to the public. The staff and interns of the Christian Performing Artists Fellowship will present music and theatre from various artists illustrating "Theme and Variations": a musical form in which a theme or melody is played and then repeated in altered form.

Dr. Daniel Paul Horn is the featured performer. As a soloist, Horn has given recitals at the American Liszt Society Festival and at numerous colleges and universities.

He also has appeared with various Midwestern orchestras, including engagements with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra's educational series while still in his teens.

An avid chamber musician, he regularly collaborates with the CSO Chamber Music Series. Horn has served on the summer faculties of the Sewanee, Adamant and Blue Mountain Festivals.

Currently a professor of piano and the chair of keyboard studies at the Wheaton College Conservatory of Music in Illinois, Horn maintains an active schedule as a performer and teacher.
