WINONA LAKE – The Christian Performing Artists’ Fellowship invites the public to attend the December Second Sunday Series concert, titled “Christmas by the Lake.” This month is a little different than most of the Second Sunday Series, as CPAF will share the concert with the Grace College Community Wind Ensemble, the Lakeland Community Choir, the Lakeland Youth Chorale and the Optimist Singers. The theme of the evening will be Christmas music, and CPAF is excited to bring together a variety of music groups from the Warsaw area. It will be a community event. In addition to the band, choir and barbershop, there will also be a jazz combo, a couple of monologs and some piano duets. The evening will culminate in a medley of carols lead by the Wind Ensemble and Choirs, which will be a sing-along for everyone in the audience to participate. The Second Sunday Series is free and open to the public. It will be at Rodeheaver Auditorium (between Park Ave and 9th in Winona Lake) Sunday at 7:30 p.m. The doors open at 7 p.m. A large crowd is expected. CPAF, sponsor of the summer MasterWorks Festival, is a non-profit organization that seeks to train and minister to artists worldwide. During the fall and spring, CPAF offers free concerts to the community on the second Sunday of the month. For more information, call 574-267-5973.
