The Zimmer family spends about eight months out of the year doing their show.
Based out of Myakka City, Fla., the husband and wife duo of Jessica and Kevin travel across the country with their show, Sea Lion Splash.
The show takes place at 3, 5 and 8 p.m. every day at the 94th Annual Kosciusko County Community Fair.
The fair runs through Saturday.
As for the stars of the show, the Zimmers bring four sea lions with them.
There are Sparky, Kim and Zoey who are the stars of the show and then there is the retired Alicia who serves as a sort of mentor and lends moral support to the other sea lions.
Alicia is 26 years old but Jessica said they wouldn't think of leaving her at home.
She said Sea Lions in captivity live, on average, to be about 30 while those in the wild live to be about 19.
"She's company for the girls," said Jessica.
The Zimmers have had Zoey since she was 6 months old.
Zoey was beached and stranded in California as a baby. Zoey just turned 7.
And since the Zimmers spend so much time with the sea lions, they become extremely close. That closeness helps the show.
"We've been with them for four years," said Jessica. "Everything they do is because they trust us. We've built a relationship with them."
Jessica said each Sea Lion has it's own personality.
The show appearing at the fair this week is an educational one.
The sea lions also do ball balancing, head stands, flips and shoot baskets.
There is a stage set up and a giant pool filled with 18,000 gallons of water.
Jessica said that once the Sea Lions get to a show they adjust really well.
But its showtime when they really get going.
"They love getting the reaction from the crowd," said Jessica.
"We're ready for people who have never seen sea lions to learn more about them and come away with an understanding of sea lions and respecting the environment more," said Jessica.
