Working on the Pottery Badge, Boy Scouts from Troop 715 and Webelo Scout from Pack 3767 joined at Pottery Bayou in Winona Lake to learn from instructor Sarah (no last name provided). Each Scout learned about the art of pottery, what makes up the different types of clay, made a slab pot and then toured the facilities. Scout meetings are on Monday at 7 p.m. at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Warsaw. Any boy who is at least 10 years old, or has completed the fifth grade can join Boy Scouts and enjoy fun activities like this. See the website www.troop715.net for further details.
