Zachary Davies, Troop 776, recently completed his Eagle Scout project.
For his project, Davies and volunteers delivered approximately 700 flyers to the community soliciting donations of new toys to take to Riley Hospital for Children. Zach’s sister, Jillian, received treatment for Leukemia a few years back at Riley and Zach wanted to do something to help kids that have to receive treatment there.
A few days later, another group went out to pick up the toys. More than 600 toys were collected.
The toys will be delivered to Riley today. Pictured are Zach and Jillian with most of the toys collected.
