NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS

Notice is hereby given to taxpayers of Scott Township, Kosciusko County, Indiana, that the proper of ficers of said unit at 13908 N 950 W., Nappanee, IN on August 30, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. will conduct a public hearing on the year 2012 budget. Following this meeting any ten or more taxpayers may object to a budget, t ax rate, or tax levy by filing an objection petition with the proper officers of the political subdivis ion within seven days after the hearing. The objection petition must identify the provisions of the budget, tax rate, or tax levy that taxpayers object to. If a petition is filed, the political subdivision shall adopt wit h its budget a finding concerning the objections filed and testimony presented. Following the aforementioned hearin g, the Fiscal Body will meet at 13908 N 950 W., Nappanee, IN on September 13, 2011, at 7:00 p.m. to adopt the following budget.
