NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS OF BUDGET ESTIMATES AND TAX LEVIES
Notice is hereby given to taxpayers of Scott Township, Kosciusko County, Indiana, that the proper of ficers of said Township. at 13908 N 950 W, Nappanee, IN 46550 on August 25, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. will conduct a pub lic hearing on the year 2010 budget. Following this meeting any ten or more taxpayers may object t o a budget, tax rate, or tax levy by filing an objection petition with the proper officers of the politi cal subdivision within seven days after the hearing. The objection petition must identify the provisions of the budg et, tax rate, or tax levy that taxpayers object to. If a petition is filed, the political subdivision shall adopt with its budget a finding concerning the objections filed and testimony presented. Following the aforemention ed hearing, the Council will meet at 13908 N 950 W, Nappanee, IN on September 8, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. to adopt the following budget.
