Scott E. Ambrose, 56, Warsaw, passed away at 9 p.m. Feb. 20, 2014, at his residence. He was born Feb. 14, 1958, in Fort Wayne, to Forest and Rebecca Brunson Ambrose. On Sept. 4, 2004, in Columbia City he married Connie Penn, who survives. He grew up in Whitley County and moved to Kosciusko County12 years ago. He was a retired laborer who worked for Superior Wood Products, Warsaw. He enjoyed camping, traveling and building things. He was a master builder who built a lot of his own furniture and made cabinets. He loved his grandkids and enjoyed spending time with them. Also surviving are three daughters: Stefanie, Megan and Angela Miller, all of Warsaw; two sons, Corry and Bryan Miller, both of Warsaw; five grandchildren: Callie Stephens, Angel Leavitt, David Miller, Adam Miller and Lucy Miller, all of Warsaw; a sister, Vicki (and spouse Rod) Harness, Columbia City; two brothers, Dennis Ambrose, Kosciusko County, and Matthew Ambrose, Columbia City; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Kelly Ambrose. Services will be at 6 p.m. Sunday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.
