Recently, Washington Elementary School teachers worked with the staff at Science Central to develop classroom science labs for the students.
The kindergarten students investigated ‘Bubbleology’ and ‘Tree Homes’. The first-graders worked with discovery labs called ‘Hands Off’ and ‘Plant Survivor’.
The second-graders examined how ‘Gravity Takes a Fall’ and the ‘Moon Phases’. The third-graders explored ‘Sound Science’ and ‘Plant Take Apart’. The fourth-graders studied science through the ‘Frog Dissection’ and ‘Electricity in a Snap’.
The fifth-graders analyzed anatomy through ‘Shark Dissection’, and traveled the universe in ‘Space, the Final Frontier’. The sixth grade researched genealogy in the ‘Cell Lab’, and how mass works in ‘Measure Up’.
