More than 40 middle and high school students spent Thursday morning assisting the Jefferson Elementary custodial staff with summer cleaning duties.
The students were from the Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church youth group and a traveling service team (Operation Barnabas) from across the United States. The objective of the activity was to provide a helping hand at the school and provide students with a practical application of service.
