Warsaw Community Schools is celebrating School Bus Safety Week next week.
Monday night, school bus driver certification will take place, along with a special celebration for School Bus Safety Week at the administration office. Bus drivers will watch videos and take tests.
During the school week, bus evacuations will take place with students so students know how to evacuate a bus in case of an emergency. Information on the School Bus Safety Week poster contest will be sent out to schools next week so students can participate in that state contest.
The theme for the week this year is "Stand Back from the Yellow and Black." Students in kindergarten through eighth grade are eligible to submit a poster for the contest.
