Three Kosciusko County school boards have seats up for election this year.
The Warsaw Community School Board will have four seats up for election. In District 1, Brad C. Brail is opposing incumbent George E. Klinger. In District 2, Cathy J. Folk takes on incumbent Joel G. Scrafton, who is looking for his second board term. Larry Chamberlain is running unopposed in District 5, since the position he seeks is now held by Tammy Dalton, who has moved out of that district. And Roy Szymanski, a former member of the board, is running against Gordon H. Vanator, who is seeking his third term (second as an elected board member.
On Wawasee's School Board, three seats are up for election this year.
In District 1, Bruce G. Cavell is taking on incumbent Brian D. Dawes. Carol R. Swartzendruber is running unopposed in District 2, and Robert C. Jones is running against incumbent Marion Acton in District 3.
Triton is the third of the three school boards with seats up for grabs this year.
In District 1, Tippecanoe Township, three candidates are vying for one seat: Steven C. Blackford, Brent A. Cooper and Deborah S. Fink. The incumbent for that district, Ken Blackford, is not running for re-election.
In District 2, Etna Township, David M. Shively, the incumbent, is running unopposed. And in District 4, the town of Bourbon, incumbent Larry W. Lemler takes on Leo K. Bocko.
