School Board Election Filing Ends

School Board Election Filing EndsFiling for the fall school board elections in Kosciusko County ended at noon Friday and it appears that the only races Nov. 3 will be for the three Whitko School Board seats.

Kosciusko Clerk of Circuit and Superior Courts Ann Torpy provided the final list of candidates.

Those who filed for Whitko School Board included Georgia Tenney, District 1; Tracy Howard, District 1; Lynn L. Studebaker, District 2; Jennifer Krull, District 2; Jason Wolfe, District 3; and Annette J. Arnold, District 3.

Tenney is the incumbent for District 1, while Carrie Hoffman and Matt Oong are the Districts 2 and 3 incumbents respectively.

At Wawasee, candidates who have filed included Mike Wilson, District 1, and Donald A. Bokhart, District 2. Wilson and Bokhart are the incumbents.

Triton School Board candidates are Weston M. Rettinger, District 3, and Kevin R. Boyer, at-large. Rettinger and Boyer are incumbents.

Candidates who previously filed were Aaron Zolman for Tippecanoe Valley District 1; Adam Heckaman, Tippecanoe Valley District 2; Matt Deuel, Warsaw School Board, District 6; Randy Polston, Warsaw District 4; and Elizabeth “Elle” Turley, Warsaw, District 3.

Zolman and Heckaman are the incumbents for Valley, while Polston and Turley are incumbents for Warsaw. Deuel is seeking the seat currently held by Jay Baumgartner, who is not seeking re-election.
