Continuously serving Kosciusko County since 1854
Filing for local school board elections ends at noon Friday.
At Warsaw Community School Corp., districts three, four and six are up for election.
Wawasee School Corp. has two positions open, but anyone from any of the districts can run for the open positions.
Up for election at Triton School Corp. is the at-large position and the district three seat. However, the only Kosciusko County voters involved in the Triton election are those in Etna Township, and they can vote only for the at-large position this year. District three is in Marshall County.
Anyone interested in running for a school board position has to file a petition at the county clerk's office and must have 12 to 15 signatures of registered voters.
