ADRIAN, Mich. - Gleaner Life Insurance Society Scholarship Foundation announced the recipients of two scholarships.
Sydnie Reed, daughter of Brian and Cambi Reed, Mentone, is the recipient of a $1,000 scholarship award. The 2008 Tippecanoe Valley High School graduate will attend Huntington University, majoring in special education.Amanda Rensberger, daughter of Harold and Pamela Rensberger, North Webster, is the recipient of a $1,000 Center Township Arbor Award. The 2008 Wawasee High School graduate will attend Purdue University, majoring in actuarial sciences.
Reed and Rensberger were among 125 students selected to receive a 2008 scholarship award from Gleaner Life Insurance Society Scholarship Foundation.
In addition to extraordinary academic accomplishments, both students have been involved in many extracurricular activities.
Gleaner Life Insurance Society Scholarship Foundation has awarded scholarships on a competitive basis to members and/or family of members annually since 1980. During the past 28 years, the Foundation has distributed 1,528 scholarships totaling $1,497,750 to students attending college.
