Harold and Karen Schmucker, Etna Green, will mark their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 4. They were married June 14, 1957, at Foster Chapel Church, Bourbon, by the Rev. Dale Bardsley.
He is employed by Jenkins Automotive, Napanee. She is employed at Flexsteel, New Paris.
The couple have five children: Randy (and wife Brenda) and Gary, both of Etna Green; Tim (and wife Lori), Nappanee; Mrs. Juan (Roxanne) Leal, Milford; and Edith, Wakarusa. They have 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The couple will celebrate the anniversary with a carry-in dinner from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. and then an open house from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Etna Green Park. Friends and family are welcome.
