Today I received a phone call from a local number 574-267-????.
I answered the phone and it was a robo call from Card Services. The voice on the other end said, "Hello, This is (name) from Card Services to let you know we can lower your percentage rates on your credit card. Press 9 for information."
I didn't press 9 because I knew what it was. After I hung up I called the 267-???? number and a gentleman answered the phone. I told him that a Card Services scam was using his number to make local calls and advised him to contact the authorities and let them know what was happening.
If you receive a robo call like this, just hang up because they are phishing for your credit card number to scam you.
