I have been doing a bit of thinking regarding our economy. It seems so odd to be some blame our president. Is he really to blame?
First of all, our country is a Democracy and it is not a dictatorship. How can you blame one man? The president does not make and pass bills.Let's think (analyze) a bit as to what happened to those large companies. Isn't it true they loaned all their money to people who lost their jobs (whatever) and don't make their payments? They were overly anxious to loan. So they have mad a mistake in handling their money, right? So let's boil it down to an individual like you and I. If we spend all our money, we will not have money to eat the next day. We will have to ask for help or starve.
What should really be done to avoid such conditions? Let's think about you and I. If I save and am careful with my money, I will be in good shape. If I spend it I am taking chances and may get in trouble. That is what the companies did - took too many wild chances. Who is at fault, not the president?
Advice to individuals like you and I - also big companies - "save for a rainy day." I think big companies loan to their last dollar. If they kept some in reserve, Uncle Sam would not have to bail them out.
