BOURBON — Sarah S. Reichert, 75, Bourbon, passed away Oct. 16, 2017, at home. 

Sarah was born June 1, 1942, in Huntington, to Kenneth Pouless Wright and Genevra Kelley. She was a 1960 graduate of Nappanee High School, and a graduate of the first dental hygienist class at Indiana University South Bend, "part of the magnificent 7.” 

She has been a resident of Bourbon most of her married life. She worked for Dr. Burns’ dental office in Plymouth for 35 years. She belonged to the Better Homes Club of Kosciusko County. 

Sarah loved flowers, crocheting and attending her grandchildren’s athletic events, and was an avid reader.

On Nov. 13, 1960, she married the love of her life, William Reichert. She is also survived by her daughter, Kelley (Bob) Ross, Bourbon; granddaughters, Marissa Ross (Clay Yeo), Carmel, and Emma Ross; and Ramona Keller, a dear friend, Bourbon. 

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4  to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 19, in Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, 115 S. Main St., Bourbon. 

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Parks Cemetery, Bourbon.
