Santa’s House ArrivesSanta Claus will begin listening to children’s wish lists this weekend in Warsaw now that the Warsaw Breakfast Optimist Club has delivered the house to the Kosciusko County courthouse square at the intersection of Buffalo and Center streets. Santa’s house will be in downtown Warsaw for First Friday from 4:30 to 9 p.m., according to Santa’s House committee chair and Optimist Daren Maierle. Santa will take a break at about 6 p.m. for the annual Twinkle Light Parade. Santa’s House will then move to Central Park beginning Saturday. Old St. Nick’s hours at the park until Dec. 23 will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturdays and 2 to 5 p.m. Sundays, with Friday hours from 6 to 8 p.m. Photos with Santa and candy canes are free, but donations are welcomed. High school students in the Octagon Club will serve as elves. Pictured (L to R) are Optimists Art Gakstatter; President-elect Dr. Pam Galloway; and Maierle.
