NORTH MANCHESTER – Sandy L. Hile, 72, of Rochester, and formerly of Sidney, died at 6:55 a.m. Aug. 5, 2012, in Hickory Creek Center, Rochester.
She was born Nov. 24, 1939, in Churubusco, to Clifford and Helen LaRue Wappes. On March 2, 1956, she married Delbert L. Hile, who died March 1, 1983.
She formerly worked at Heckman Bindery and Warner Corp., both of North Manchester, and was a member of the former Sidney Grace Brethren Church.
Surviving are a son, Rick A. (and spouse Beverly) Hile, Rochester; two sisters, Annette Wappes, Milford, and Linda (and spouse Raymond) Jones, Ligonier; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by a son and a daughter.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, with Pastor Rodney Ruberg officiating. Burial will be in Sidney Cemetery.
