Michael and Sharon Sands, South Whitley, announce the engagement of their daughter, Monica Sands, Fort Wayne, to Andrew J. Kitrush, Fort Wayne. He is the son of David and Lori Kitrush, Fort Wayne.
The bride-to-be is a photography coordinator at Shindigz by Stumps, South Whitley. She is a 2001 graduate of Whitko High School, South Whitley and received a degree in general studies from Ball State University in 2006.
The groom-elect is a fabricator at Artek, Fort Wayne. He is a 1999 graduate of Northrop High School, Fort Wayne. He currently attends Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne where he pursues a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering technology.
