Sandra "Sandy" Jeannine Gardenour, 75, of 1630 S. County Farm Road, Warsaw, passed away at 7:45 a.m. March 25, 2011, in Miller's Merry Manor, Warsaw.
She was born Nov. 19, 1935, in Bluffton, to Farrell Englis and Justine B. Brinkley Gardenour.
She spent most of her life in the Uniondale area and several years in a group home in Decatur. As her health declined, she was relocated to Warsaw. She was a member of Uniondale United Methodist Church, and while living in Decatur she attended Bi-County Services.
Surviving are a sister, Jane Brallier, Winona Lake; and two nephews, Kirk (and spouse Linda) Swaidner, Winona Lake, and Scott (and spouse Nannette) Swaidner, Pierceton. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. April 9 at Horeb Cemetery, Markle.
Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, is in charge of arrangements.
