NAPPANEE — Sandra Lee Sheckler, 84, formerly of Nappanee, died at 7 a.m. Monday, Jan. 8, 2018, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Wakarusa, after battling dementia and other health issues.
She was born July 24, 1933, in Wells County, to Claude and Virginia Scott Michael. On Feb. 20, 1954, she married Boyd Sheckler in Markle. He survives.
Survivors include a daughter, Kelli (Scott) Amsden, Syracuse.
Family and friends may call from noon to 8 p.m. Thursday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee. Inurnment will be in South Union Cemetery.
