Sandra L. Fiedeke, 54, of Pierceton, died at 8:26 p.m. May 18, 2012, in her residence.
She was born June 10, 1957, in LaPorte, to Russell and Louise Barth Sponseller. She married Larry Wayne Manuel, who preceded her in death. On Feb. 14, 1991, in Goshen, she married Steve Fiedeke, who survives.
She graduated from Warsaw Community High School in 1975. She was involved in finance banking and was Monroe Township Trustee since 1999. She was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, Warsaw; Lambda Chi Omega Philanthropic Sorority and of several banking associations. She was a past member of Tippecanoe Country Club and a board member at Kosciusko Community Hospital and Multi Township EMS.
Also surviving are four children: Lawrence “J.R.” (and spouse Emily) Manuel, Evansville; Cassandra “Cassie” (and spouse Kale) Elkins, Warsaw; and Todd (and spouse Sue) Fiedeke and Troy (and spouse Hope) Fiedeke, all of Syracuse; a brother, Russell Jr. (and spouse Karen) Sponseller, Ossian; five sisters: Carolyn Sue (and spouse Harry) Wittig, Pierceton; Diana Kay Allen and Janet (and spouse Kevin) Kinney, all of Leesburg; Peggy (and spouse Ronald) Campbell and Jo Ellen (and spouse Troy) Dirck, all of Warsaw; and seven grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by her father and a sister.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with the Rev. Andy Campbell officiating. Burial will be in South Whitley Cemetery.
