NORTH MANCHESTER — Samuel L. “Sam” Leckrone, 77, North Manchester, died at 11:35 a.m. July 31, 2018, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
He was born June 19, 1941, in Manistee, Mich., to Clifton L.J. and Joyce L. Griffith Leckrone. He was married to Carol St. Peters on July 15, 1977. She survives.
He served in the National Guard from 1963 to 1969.
Local survivors include two sons, Craig (Wendy) Slough and Mike (Kathy) Leckrone, both of North Manchester.
Calling is from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday at McKee Mortuary, 1401 Ind. 114W, North Manchester.
