Samuel Castañeda Flores, 66, Warsaw, died Thursday, April 16, 2026, in the care of Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.
He was born July 16, 1959, in Lagos de Moreno, Jalisco, Mexico, to Jedtrudis Flores and Adolfo Castañeda. In 1985, Samuel married Hermelinda Castro de Luna; she survives in Mexico.
Friends and family may visit prior to the service from 9:30 to 11:45 a.m. Thursday, April 23 at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw. Samuel’s life will be celebrated with a funeral mass at noon on Thursday, April 23 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 225 Gilliam Drive, Warsaw, and officiated by Father Wilson Corzo. He will be laid to rest at a later date in Mexico.
